I really enjoyed staying on the river. I just wished we had more time to spend with the kids and their families. They seemed so genuine and really seeking for Truth. Make the best of every opportunity, Vinh :]
When we visited homes on the river, we didn’t really know which homes were already visited by MS Hoang or other missionaries. So some boathouses were revisited three to four+ times (not neccessarily during our trip, but for as long as missionaries have been going over there). And that’s okay because those families are being followed up, I guess. But there are other homes that were never visited and therefore didn’t have mosquito nets or water filters or more importantly, the message of the Gospel. And I actually encountered one of those families. They lived wayy on the outside-ish. That’s just a recent realization that came to me. Maybe MS Hoang is aware of the current system and knows what he’s doing. I’m not sure. It’s just a thought.
Anyway, you guys are continually in our prayers :]
